Funny story

I just noticed that my last couple of blogs are negative, so I wanted to add a funny story.
Christmas Eve we had plans to go to Dan's brother's house for a little get-together. I was sick all day, and spent most of the day on the couch. So when it was about time to go, nothing was ready to go, nobody had eaten dinner, and Dan still hadn't showered. I told Dan to go hop in the shower and I would make him and Maicee dinner (there was no way I was going to try and eat). I asked Maicee if she was hungry, she said "yeah." I told her I would make her some dinner. So I stuck some left-over chicken and rice in the microwave, enough for her and Dan. I had made fudge earlier in the week, and it wasn't getting eaten here, so I decided to take some to the party. While the food was warming up, I started cutting up some fudge and put it on a paper plate. I stepped over to the microwave to stir the rice, and I could hear Maicee giggling and saying "yeah, yeah." Stepped back over to where the fudge was supposed to be, and it was gone. I looked everywhere I could have placed it and couldn't find it. I finally looked in the dining room where Maicee was shoving piece after piece of fudge into her mouth. She thought I was the best mom in the world by making fudge for dinner. I let her eat a little more before switching it with some chicken and rice. She really cracks me up!

Holy cow you're an awesome mom! I bet my family would be pretty stoked if I served fudge for dinner one night too!

That is super hilarious. I can totally see that in my mind!
