It's official...

We have a pooper!!!  Maicee has pooped in her potty twice!  That's two poopy bums I didn't have to change!  She has only half-way peed in the potty, but pee diapers are a lot easier than poopy diapers.
This is after her first pee.

This is after the big poop.
The rest of these are just random pictures that I thought were cute.
I straightened her hair this day, and she drew her first face!

I often have to go searching for Maicee since she can now unlock all 3 locks on the door.  This is what I found one day after looking for her.  Poor little guy fell asleep.  I love his little belly hanging out.

Maicee's friends decided to all dress up one day, and they dressed her up, too.  From left to right:  Kaila, Maicee, Reanna, and Riley.

Kyson and Tad chillin on the couch.
Maicee just had to lay by her brother and play.
And, of course, I had to take a picute of Maicee while trying to take some of Kyson.

Maicee's blog

I have started a blog for Maicee. Well, for Maicee's pictures. She loves taking pictures and somehow takes a lot of them. Some of them are really good, and some are just funny. So I decided to share them with the rest of the world. If you would like to look at them, here's the link http://picturesbymissmaicee.blogspot.com/, or you can find it on my list of blogs on the right. Enjoy!

Obvious signs you might be sleep deprived.

1. You wake up in the morning and find a random envelope on your fridge(right where your visiting teaching assignment should be). Upon further investigation, you discover it contained your new visiting teaching assignment, which assignment is now in the garbage under a pile of dirty diapers, at the bottom of the community trash bin.

2. You wash your hair with shampoo 5 times in one shower.

3. After driving home on a busy freeway going speeds of up to 75 miles an hour, you get your 2 month old son out of the back and discover he was not buckled into the carseat, but at least the carseat was buckled into the car!

Yes, I know, I am a horrible mother.

So funny

I really need to start writing down the things Maicee says. Sometimes she can be quite entertaining. Tonight she was eating a bag of cherries and watching Veggietales. Apparently she wasn't paying very close attention because I heard her exclaim "where'd my cherries go?!!?" I look down at her feet and find about 20 stems, no pits. She had eaten all of the cherries (even the pits) and didn't even realize it. Silly girl.
So, then she hears her friends playing outside. One little girl, Kaila, asked if she could come down and play. I told her she needed to wipe the cherry juice off her face first. She goes running into the kitchen, grabs one of her colored pictures from nursery, wipes her face, then comes running back to me for inspection. I helped her get a paper towel and really wipe her face. I opened the front door for her and told her to go straight to the "big" backyard, (we have 2 backyards here: the big one I can see from my back balcony, the "small" one is the next building over and has the pool in it, making it the "small" one), because our neighbor likes to get stoned and talk about how no one believes in Jesus anymore. He came over about an hour ago and was super high, so I didn't want Maicee to be anywhere near him. I was watching for her to get to the backyard, and all her friends left. 15 seconds later, Maicee comes running into the backyard, and I hear hear shout, "what?!!? Oh no, where'd my friends go?" Luckily Rhianna heard her and came back to hang out until everyone else came back. She cracks me up.

Two months!!!

Kyson turned two months old on Saturday. He's such a good baby!

I had to take a picture with Maicee and Kyson because Maicee was throwing a fit!

Some smiles.

And then I told him he was going to get some shots...

He did pretty good at his dr.'s appointment. They gave him his shots and as soon as they pulled the needles out of his legs, he stopped crying. The nurses were impressed. He weighs 11 lbs. 3 oz. and is 23 inches long. He's in the 45th percentile for his weight, and the 50th percentile for his height. Good job bud!!!

Smiles!

This handsome little fellow finally started smiling at me. He's been smiling at Maicee since he got home from the hospital.

I love his little half smile!

I just love him!

He's a pretty happy baby.

And I just love this picture of Grandma and Maicee. It makes me smile!

A name and a blessing

We were able to bless Kyson July 31, 2011. Grandma and Grandpa Heilmann and Aunt Rebecca were visiting, so we had a lot of family there. His blessing was very touching. I'm so glad Dan is able to bless our children!!!
Family picture.

He's so handsome!

Kyson just loves his big sister!

Thanks for coming out Grandpa!

And Aunt Rebecca!

My Daddy come back!!!

The 6 weeks is up! Dan is home! He started school last Friday, so we don't get to see him during the day anymore, but he is home!!!
Watching the escalator, waiting patiently for Daddy.

Julian and Tristan waiting for their dad.

Maicee was so excited to see her dad! She kept telling people "my Daddy come back!" while pointing at Dan.

I love that Kyson is just staring at Dan.

We are so happy to have Dan home!!!
